Theme Scripture:
“But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.’” – Mark 10:27
Our Dew of Heaven:
In this new year, no matter your goals, dreams, or hopes, Jesus reminds us in Mark 10:27 that with God, all things are possible.
Think of the story of David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17). David, a young shepherd, faced a seemingly impossible challenge—a giant warrior trained for battle. Yet David didn’t rely on his own strength or resources. Instead, he trusted in God’s power, saying, “The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine” (1 Samuel 17:37). With faith and a single stone, David achieved what seemed impossible.
Similarly, as we set our goals for the year ahead, we may feel like we’re standing before our own “giants.” But just as God gave David victory, He can empower us to meet our goals and overcome obstacles. Whether it’s pursuing a dream, building a relationship, or stepping out in faith, remember that God specializes in the impossible.
With God, it is possible. Say to yourself all year long: “It is possible. I can do it with the Lord on my side, in Jesus’ name.”
Declaration:
I declare that my goals and dreams are in Your capable hands, O Lord. My faith is strengthened like David’s, and I proclaim that Your power is made perfect in my weakness. I walk forward in confidence, knowing You are guiding me to victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
